Born on February 20th, 1916 in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of John and Laura (Gorman) Boyd. She retired from Fit-Rite Shoe Store where she worked for 35 years. Audrey was a member of Grace Memorial United Baptist Church, the Grace Matheson Chapter of Women's Missionary Society. Audrey is survived by her daughters, Frances Titus of Fredericton, NB and Florence (Harry) Baldwin of Hanwell, NB; sons, David (Barbara) of Fergus, ON, Keith (Nancy) of Fredericton, NB and John (Lynda) of Airdrie, AB; 16 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; one great great grandson; sister, Marguerite McLellan of Dow Settlement, NB and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, Audrey was predeceased by her son, Robert; infant granddaughter, Patricia Jewett; sisters, Doris Irva Higgs, Infant-Florence and Mary Johnson. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Sunday, June 7th, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from Grace Memorial United Baptist Church on Monday, June 8th, 2009 at 2 pm with Rev. Doug Hapeman officiating. Interment will take place in Douglas Rural Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation, Grace Memorial United Baptist Church or the charity of the donor's choice.
