To this marriage of Isabella, three children were born Shirley, David and Lynette.
In 1931 George became a member of the Church of Christ and was baptized into the church and has been faithful to his Lord. In 1936, George was chosen from his congregation to perform weddings and funerals. George was honoured to perform marriages in the district, something he had never thought possible. On April 16, 1977, George lost his wife Isabella with cancer. His son David continued to farm the home place. George continued to live on the farm until the fall of 1980 when he moved into Bengough. Through friends of his, George got in touch with a widow, Dorothy, living in Alibion, Idaho. They were married on June 23, 1984 at Rupert, Idaho and started a new life together in Bengough.
