      Wedding Bells Are Ringing
      Proudfoot - McGeachy
      On Thursday, August 17th, 1933, Mary McMichael McGeachy, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Duncan McGeachy, of Lincoln, and John Henry Proudfoot, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. J.A. Proudfoot were married at the Manse, the Rev. R.B. Layton, officiating.
      The bride was dressed in a white crepe ensemble, the dress being relieved with touches of pale blue crepe, all the accessories being white. She carried a bouquet of variegated sweet peas.
      Those present at the wedding and the subsequent lunch at the Adelphi were the parents of the bride and groom; Mr. Eddie McGeachy, of Ponoka, brother of the bride and his wife; Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Kasha, the latter a sister of the groom. Also, Mr. and Mrs. H.E. Heath, of Blacfalds and children. The witnesses being the last two named.
      The bride, gowned in pale blue crepe, and the groom left by car for Camrose and Rosalind.
      On returning the young couple will make their home at the farm of the groom's parents 5 miles west of Lacombe.
