Robert was born in Lacombe, Alberta on December 26, 1931. He traveled throughout the provinces pipeling before marrying his wife Evelyn and residing on the farm in the Diamond Valley Area. Robert was dedicated and hard working in everything he spent time on. He always had a high standard of ethics, values and integrity. Robert is survived by his sons Greg, Murray (Nancy) of Eckville, Wayne of Red Deer and grandson Brett. He is also survived by his special friend and companion, Jean Winter of Red Deer. He was predeceased by his loving wife Evelyn McGeachy in 2006. A memorial service will be held at the Eckville Community Centre, Eckville, Alberta, on Monday, August 9, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. with The Reverend Sandra Franklin-Law, officiating. Donations may be made to the Red Deer Hospice Society, 99 Arnot Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta, T4R 3S6.
