John aged 2y. died on 9th Jan. of measles---. during the journey.Another son named Hugh was born on board.His birth was registered in S. Africa.
They had a very unfortunate voyage which lasted 164days,& then journeyed overland for 4 days to get to Hugh's "Run" at Benmore.
