James, Jean, Margaret and Florence Stewart, lawful children of the defunct, and Donald McLean in Gartgreillan, husband to Jean, Neil McEachran, house carpenter in Islay, husband to Nelly, John Kelly in Tayinlone husband to Florence and Donald Galbraith. shoemaker in Tayinlone, husband to Margaret, for their interest discerned excecutors dative qua nearest kin raised the edict. Charles Lockhart of Muiravonside, otherwise Charles McDonald Of Largie, produced a latter will written in 1783 and registered in the books of Council and Session appointing him excecutor and leaving his property to him. with the exception of one third to his wife Mary Smith. Reveals that there was an eldest son Dugald and another son David. The whole matter was complicated by the fact dat David Stewart was in possession of Refluch and all the property on it and refused to give access. In the end Charles Lockhart was decerned executor testamentar and granted warrant to inventory and roup the goods and gear. Par of Kilcalmonnel 23.3.1790
