    She married John Larn November 28, 1872.

    On October 23, 1880 she married a Presbyterian minister, the Rev. John Brown.

    She had three children by John Brown.

    The marriage lasted fifteen years.

    She lived her final days in California.

    Facts:
    J.B. and his wife were one of the earliest settlers of Shackelford County. He lived close to the Clear Fork when white residents were few.

    Joseph and his wife Caroline came west when their son was only a baby.

    He devoted his time and energies to the cattle business.

    He had five daughter and one son.

    1880 - J. B. introduced Barbed Wire to the Clear Fork country.
