Nor have we ever left its precincts without rejoicing in the joy of nature, or without being enriched with glorious memories.” wrote Hugh McDonald in “McDonald’s Days at the Coast” in 1862.

No wonder we love mountains, wild and beautiful landscapes, fauna and flora and more in particular bird watching as the Kyles of Bute, pictured and described above, is where we live.
